Questions

Shower questions, answered plainly.

About shower replacement, tub conversions, tile, glass doors, waterproofing, cost and timing.

Getting started

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. The Free Estimate comes with no obligation. You approve a written scope before any shower work begins.

What areas do you serve?

Nashville and communities across Middle Tennessee, including Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, Dickson, Springfield and more. See the service areas page for the full list.

Which brands do you install?

We install the brand you prefer or help you choose one. We are an independent company and are not affiliated with any fixture, tile, tub or glass maker.

What services do you offer?

Shower replacement and installation, tub-to-shower conversions, tile and grout work, glass doors, waterproofing and leak repair, fixtures, bathtubs and bathroom remodeling.

Shower replacement

How long does a shower replacement take?

Prefabricated showers often take three to ten working days. Custom tile showers often take one to three weeks.

Can you convert my tub to a shower?

Yes. Most conversions keep the same footprint, with tile, panels or a prefabricated unit and a glass door.

What if you find hidden damage?

We show you, explain what is needed and agree on the repair and any change in scope before proceeding.

Do you handle plumbing?

We handle shower plumbing and coordinate larger plumbing and electrical changes with the right trade.

Tile and glass

What tile is best for a shower?

Porcelain is dense and durable. Large tile on walls and small tile on the floor is a common and practical combination.

Do you install frameless glass doors?

Yes. We measure carefully, order tempered glass and install it with the hardware finish you choose.

Is waterproofing really necessary?

Yes. Tile and grout are not waterproof, so a membrane behind the tile is what keeps the shower dry.

Cost and timeline

What drives the cost of a shower?

Type, size, materials, hidden damage, plumbing and schedule. A written estimate shows exactly where the money goes.

How do I compare shower quotes?

Ask each company for the same scope: shower type, waterproofing, materials, glass and schedule. Our bid scorecard helps you compare.

Do I need a permit?

Rules vary by city, county and scope. We tell you what applies to your project and what to confirm with your local office.

Care and safety

How do I keep my shower looking new?

Run the fan, squeegee after showers, keep caulk in good repair and use pH-neutral cleaners. See our maintenance checklist.

Do you remove mold?

No. We replace mildewed caulk and rebuild damaged areas, and we recommend a qualified specialist for extensive mold.

Can you make my shower safer?

Yes. We install grab bars, benches, handheld showers, slip-resistant floors and low-threshold entries.
