An Italian company founded in 1937 that makes tile adhesives, grouts, waterproofing and surface preparation products.
MAPEI is an Italian company founded in 1937 and is now one of the world's largest makers of adhesives and products for tile and flooring. In showers, installers use its adhesives, liquid waterproofing membranes such as Mapelastic AquaDefense, and grouts including Ultracolor Plus, a fast-setting, color-consistent grout. Tile installers in Nashville often choose MAPEI products when they want a complete system for waterproofing, setting and grouting from a single maker.
We are an independent contractor and use MAPEI products when you choose them. We follow product instructions for thickness, cure and mortar choices and flood-test before tile. We discuss grout color and type with samples and explain how quick-setting grout can save time. We stay honest about which products fit your shower and tile and about the importance of an installer following the maker's directions.
